Relationship-first networking means that members focus on building trust, understanding, and mutual respect before expecting referrals. It is based on the belief that stronger relationships produce better long-term business opportunities.

Guests are generally allowed to introduce themselves and briefly explain their business within the structure of the meeting. ATLAS encourages professional introductions rather than aggressive promotion.

Team Leaders may eventually have access to tools or support for local team pages, depending on website features and permissions. ATLAS may choose to centralize certain website management functions to maintain brand consistency and quality.

Substitutions may be allowed under the attendance standards described in the Terms of Service. Current language allows up to two substitutions per quarter, subject to team procedures and approval.

Guest visits are limited to two (2) visits and ATLAS believes the guest can make a sound business-decision to join as a “Chartering Member” if a new team, or join as a “Member” on an established team. The purpose of visiting is to help a prospective member determine whether ATLAS is a good fit within a reasonable period. ATLAS is not intended to be an unlimited drop-in networking event.

Weekly networking creates regular opportunities for members to stay top-of-mind, build trust, sharpen communication, learn from one another, and identify referral opportunities. The weekly rhythm helps turn networking from occasional activity into a disciplined business development practice.

New teams typically begin through a chartering process where early participants attend consistently, invite quality professionals, and build enough momentum to become a viable team. ATLAS currently defines a chartered team as one that reaches twelve prospective new members attending for three consecutive weeks, subject to the Terms of Service.

ATLAS discusses practical business topics such as sales, hiring, HR, employee classification, finance, merchant services, client financing, marketing, operations, insurance, leadership, customer experience, and referral strategy.
