FAQs
-
ATLAS represents strength, support, responsibility, leadership, and the idea that better professionals working together can carry more opportunity than they could alone. The name reflects the organization’s focus on building stronger referral partners, stronger relationships, and stronger local business communities.
-
Attendance matters because trust is built through repeated interaction. Members who attend consistently become more familiar to the team, better understood by referral partners, and more likely to participate in meaningful relationship-building.
-
An existing networking group may be able to migrate to ATLAS if the leader and members want more structure, clearer standards, better systems, and a stronger platform. ATLAS will need to evaluate fit, market, member categories, culture, and willingness to operate within ATLAS expectations.
-
Members are encouraged to address conflicts professionally and respectfully. ATLAS leadership may become involved when a conflict affects the team, violates policies, or creates risk to the organization or other members.
-
Visitors may be able to visit more than one team depending on market availability and category considerations. ATLAS may guide guests toward the team that best fits their business category and location.
-
Yes! ATLAS intends to continue improving website functionality, member profiles, directory tools, communication systems, lead capture, educational content, and other technology resources as the organization develops. ATLAS considers the current use of automations and technology as another “unique value proposition” offered to members.
-
ATLAS membership costs include a one-time application, on-boarding, or background check fee of $199 which is non-refundable whether approved, or not approved. Current membership payment structures include a monthly recurring membership option and a refundable deposit membership option, depending on availability and team status. If a team has not yet “Chartered” then the monthly recurring charge is $1 per month until the team Charters (12 attending for 3 weeks consecutive). Chartered teams have a monthly recurring of $149, or, a (unique to ATLAS) “refundable deposit” option of $2400 which can be earned back by the member at a rate of $300 per quarter based upon meeting the established ATLAS best practices for being a member in good standing. “Deposit” options are limited per team.
-
Referrals are generated when members build enough trust, understanding, and confidence to introduce one another to appropriate business opportunities. ATLAS creates the structure and environment for referrals, but referrals remain voluntary and are never guaranteed.
-
Referrals may be tracked through affiliate links, website registrations, application information, or internal records. Members should use their assigned referral link whenever possible and should also encourage referrals to identify the referring member during the application process.
-
Educational discussions may cover practical matters that affect small and medium-sized businesses, including pricing, cash flow, hiring, employee versus contractor decisions, insurance, reviews, local marketing, customer follow-up, operations, and relationship-building.
