Atlas Business Networking – DMCA Policy

Atlas Business Networking (“Atlas,” “we,” “our,” “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its members and website users to do the same. This Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) Policy explains how we address copyright infringement claims related to content posted on our website, member directory, or any associated online platform.
- Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content available on our website or platforms infringes your copyright, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA. The notification must be in writing and include the following information (as required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material, including specific URL(s) or location(s).
- Contact information of the complaining party, such as name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

- Counter-Notification
If you believe material that was removed or disabled is not infringing, you may file a counter-notification pursuant to the DMCA. A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, including its location before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district (or the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida if outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notification or their agent.
Counter-notifications should be sent to the Designated Copyright Agent listed above.
- Repeat Infringers
Atlas may, at its discretion, terminate or suspend the accounts and/or membership of users or members who are determined to be repeat infringers.
- Misrepresentations
Any person who knowingly misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney’s fees, incurred by Atlas or its members.
- Policy Updates
Atlas may revise this DMCA Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of Atlas’ platforms constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
