Atlas Business Networking – Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) outlines the standards of behavior required of all members, guests, and participants (“Users”) of Atlas Business Networking (“Atlas,” “we,” “our,” “us”). The purpose of this Policy is to maintain a professional, respectful, and productive environment for business networking, referrals, and member collaboration. By participating in Atlas activities, accessing our website, or submitting membership deposits, you agree to abide by this Policy.

  1. General Principles
  • Membership is intended for business professionals who wish to participate in a structured, referral-based networking organization.
  • Members must represent their business truthfully and professionally in all Atlas meetings and communications.
  • Members are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards in connection with their participation in Atlas.
  1. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Atlas Business Networking platforms, meetings, or communications for:

  1. Unlawful activity – including but not limited to fraud, misrepresentation, or solicitation that violates state, federal, or local laws.
  2. Misuse of referrals – including sharing personal or business contact information without consent or failing to honor the standards of a “qualified referral.”
  3. Harassment or abuse – including any conduct that is discriminatory, defamatory, threatening, or disruptive to the professional environment.
  4. Unauthorized promotion – including marketing or solicitation unrelated to your declared business category or attempting to circumvent Atlas’ one-business-per-category structure.
  5. Interference – including conduct that disrupts meetings, undermines member collaboration, or damages Atlas’ reputation.
  1. Member Responsibilities
  • Attend scheduled meetings and adhere to attendance, referral, one-to-one meeting, and visitor requirements as outlined in Atlas’ Membership Agreement.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information shared within meetings and one-to-one sessions.
  • Use professional judgment in referring business, ensuring that all referrals are genuine and qualified.
  • Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the mission of Atlas to promote ethical, high-quality business networking.
  1. Enforcement

Violations of this Policy may result in:

  • Written warning;
  • Temporary suspension of membership privileges; or
  • Termination of membership without refund of deposit.

Atlas reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether conduct violates this Policy.

  1. Reporting Misconduct

Members who become aware of conduct that violates this Policy should report it to Atlas leadership or their Team Director. Reports will be handled confidentially to the extent possible.

  1. Amendments

Atlas reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Members will be notified of updates through email or website postings. Continued participation in Atlas following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
